Scan Derelict. Long range scanner can find abandoned ships within a certain range (different options), the scanner's range. Another mod extracted by my XRSGE galaxy mod. In XRSGE sectors are huge and there are a lot of abandoned ships, also L and XL. But they are very far, often close to the low orbit of a planet. So are quite difficult to find.And that NPCs can claim those abandoned ships from battles, but not the specially placed static ones. Nothing confirmed. It might be that the one that you can find during a mission, should not be cappable by NPCs because it is a special one, but that it might be bugged that way and considered free-for-all. #95.
